Just as in their look, the temperament of the Harrier Dog Breed is somewhere between that of the Foxhound and Beagle. They are more playful than the Foxhound for sure, but not as much as the ever-outgoing beagle. These dogs are excellent with children, they are very patient and sweet. They are also in-turn good with other dogs; watch them around non-dog family pets however. They are defintely pack dogs and do well with their pack (family) of people or dogs.
