Non Sporting Group

When a dog is classified as being in the Non Sporting Group, their main function is provide their owners with a well suited companion pet. Non sporting dogs have diversified from their ancestors original roles and have been best suited to be consorts to modern household families. You will find dogs as small as the Bichon Frise to the much larger Chow Chow included with the non sporting group. All the dogs included are purebred. Non sporting dogs really have an assortment of temperaments. Some will do great with apartment living, while others couldn’t live without a large backyard. Some of the non sporting dogs are the Bulldog, Dalmation, Keeshond, and the Shiba Inu to name a few. These dogs all require obedience training, and adequate exercise regimes.
